City Administrator's Office
The city administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city, overseeing all city departments with the exception of the city clerk and reporting to the City Council. The City Administrator's Office is comprised of the city administrator, assistant to the city administrator, executive office associate/personnel assistant, and communications specialist. The City Administrator is charged with ensuring the city charter, ordinances, and policies are implemented in an effective and efficient manner.

The city administrator performs the following duties:
- Proposing an annual budget for review and consideration by the City Council.
- Proposing a capital improvement program for review and consideration by the City Council.
- Development and administration of the city's personnel system, and oversight of the recruitment, retention, promotion and compensation of all city employees.
- Ensures a transparent government by keeping the public informed of city government matters through the city newsletter, web site, press releases and other communication.
