Silver Screen Series Celebrates Art and Aging for Fifth Season

Silver Screen Series

Mondays September 11, 18 and 25
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
AMC Creve Coeur 12, 10465 Olive Blvd.

The City of Creve Coeur Arts Committee, along with Maturity and Its Muse, will host a series of film viewings and discussions on Mondays in September.

The free series will focus on films that explore positive aging themes. All screenings will be held at AMC Creve Coeur 12, 10465 Olive Blvd., from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. The schedule will be as follows:

September 11: Lady in the Van

September 18: I’ll See You in my Dreams

September 25: The Notebook

Each film will conclude with an optional discussion between attendees and filmmakers, academics, and artists.

Thanks to the generosity of AMC Creve Coeur 12 and the City of Creve Coeur, the Silver Screen Series is offered free of charge to the public. These events would not be possible without the support of our community partners: OASIS, Cinema St. Louis, and The Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging at Washington University.

For more information on the series, please contact Bess McCoy, Public Information Officer and Management Analyst, at bmccoy@crevecoeurmo.gov or (314) 442-2081.
