Joint Crime Prevention Program

The Creve Coeur Joint Crime Prevention Program is a partnership between the Creve Coeur Police Department, Monsanto Corporate Security, and St. Johns Mercy Medical Center Security Departments. This partnership was formed in 1989 and has received national recognition as a model for the nation in public and private law enforcement cooperation.

The mission of the Creve Coeur Joint Crime Prevention Program is the continued establishment, development and implementation of educational and safety programs for the community: and to foster better relationships between private and public law enforcement, working together with business and government for the good of the entire community.

The program encompasses the use of both police and security officers to carry the message of Crime Prevention and safety to the community through programs such as National Night Out Against Crime, Annual Trivia Night, St. John's and Monsanto Safety Fairs, the Crime Prevention and Safety Fair, Holidays on Ice, and many others.
