Public Works

The Department of Public Works is made up of four divisions: Street Maintenance, Park Maintenance, Health and Welfare, and Administration.

The Street Maintenance Division performs construction, maintenance care, and repair of all city streets. The Parks Maintenance Division maintains park land including grass cutting, public properties, open spaces, building walls and maintaining sprinkler systems. The Health and Welfare Division is responsible for the control of animals, weeds, the proper storage and removal of refuse and repair and replacement of streets signs. The Administration Division provides engineering services, project management, and contract administration of the construction and maintenance of all city infrastructure from design to construction completion.
