Street Tree Planting Program
The City of Creve Coeur Public Works Department offers a street tree planting program for residents and subdivisions. A public/private partnership, the city will cover half the costs of planting trees in the public rights-of-way with the residents paying the other half. Plantings occur in fall and spring. $137.50/tree is due with the application.
This first-come, first-served program works as follows:
- Select a type of tree from the list provided by the Department of Public Works.
- Deposit $137.50 toward the share of your cost of the tree and installation.
- Place a stake provided by the city, marking the location you would like to see the tree. Staff will verify that the location of the tree selected by the resident complies with planting guidelines, traffic conflicts, or potential utility conflicts.
