Economic and Fiscal Analysis for
Creve Coeur

The Economic Development Commission (EDC) of the City of Creve Coeur in late 2002 undertook the task of developing an economic development strategy in 2003. As a first step in the process of developing an economic development strategy, the City of Creve Coeur contractually engaged the services of the Public Policy Research Center (PPRC) of the University of Missouri – St. Louis to undertake an analysis of the fiscal contribution of the Creve Coeur business structure and a fiscal impact analysis of both existing and potential land uses. The completed report, An Economic and Fiscal Analysis of Creve Coeur provides the city with information that will assist in formulating an economic development strategy that will strike a proper fiscal balance among competing land uses.
