Creve Coeur Accepting Applications to Distribute Domestic Violence Shelter Funds
Missouri domestic violence shelters can apply for funding from the Municipal Court Cost Fund. Authorized by Missouri State law, two dollars are collected by the Municipal Court on each moving traffic and criminal violation. Apply by September 30.

City Council Approves an Ordinance Placing Proposition C on the November 2 Ballot
The ordinance places a one-quarter cent sales tax measure on the November 2 ballot. The additional revenue would fund city services and defer trash fees, otherwise planned to become effective January 2011, for at least three years.

Holiday Trash Schedule
Labor Day is Monday, September 6. Allied Waste will not collect trash and recycling on this day. Trash and recycling pick up will be delayed by one day for the week of September 6 - September 10.

A group of residents is volunteering on 9/11 in Malcolm Terrace Park from 9:00 am - noon. Volunteers plan to clear honeysuckle and remove brush.
