The Crime Prevention Unit is the primary link between the citizens and the Police Department. Officers Phillip Lane and Jonathan McIntosh are Certified Crime Prevention Specialists who can help you learn more about protecting yourself and your property from crime. They are involved in education and prevention efforts for both the City of Creve Coeur and the St. Louis area.

We encourage our residents to take an active role in prevention because the Police Department cannot protect our community alone. A successful partnership between the citizens of Creve Coeur and the officers who protect and serve them is only possible with active participation from both.

The unit offers complimentary security surveys for businesses and residents of Creve Coeur and is available to speak to your group on a variety of safety and preparedness topics. Officers Lane and McIntosh are also facilitators for the Citizen Police Academy and the area Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
