The Climate Action Task Force consists of 11 members.
Primary duties and powers of the Task Force include but are not limited to:
- Considering the findings and recommendations contained in the Baseline Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory of 2005
- Recommending a greenhouse gas reduction target to the City Council
- Developing an action plan with both existing and future actions that will meet the local greenhouse gas reduction target
- Implementing the action plan
- Coordinating future greenhouse gas emissions inventories
