A resident of Creve Coeur since 2003 while residing at 538 Chalet Court, James Faron was elected to the City Council in April of 2016. He had previously served on the Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission from 2011 through 2016, which included serving as Vice Chair for his last three years. He also serves on the Government Center Needs Assessment Task Force beginning in 2014, and had served on the Historic Preservation Committee from 2010 through 2011.
An Architect and Project Manager, he is employed by the Architectural Design Guild and holds a B.Arch in Architecture and Urban Design from Kansas University, a B.A. in History and Political Science from Webster University, an A.A. in Humanities and General Science from Meramec College, and a Certificate in City, Community, and Regional Planning from Missouri University. He and his wife Christine, a Business Analyst, have two children, Lilah and Ellis, who presently attend Spoede Elementary School.
His community affiliations include serving as a Trustee and Treasurer for the Chalet Court Subdivision since 2003 and serving on the Facilities Planning Committee for the Ladue School District since 2015. He is also a member of St. Monica Parish in Creve Coeur, as well as a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 397 in Creve Coeur. With a lifelong passion and pursuit of athletics, culminating at the collegiate level, he now has the pleasure and privilege to coach multiple teams for both his children.
