Schedule of Fees
Residential
- Permit Fees: Permit fees are based upon the estimated cost of construction and labor, and is calculated at $4 per $1,000 of project valuation. Estimated construction costs include all cost associated with the project except the cost of land and professional fees. The minimum Building Permit Fee is $50.
- Refundable Escrow: A separate check for a refundable deposit is required for all projects with an estimated construction cost of $7,500 or more. These funds will be held in an escrow account to ensure completion of the project, compliance with all codes and ordinances and repair of damage to public property. Escrow funds are returned upon completion of project and approved final inspection. Please view the Escrow Fee Schedule.
Commercial

- A surety performance bond may also be filed with the city as an alternative to the required escrow deposits
