Creve Coeur Business Awards

The Creve Coeur Economic Development Committee sponsors the Creve Coeur Business Awards Program to recognize Creve Coeur businesses and organizations. Award categories include:

Heart of the Community - honors a Creve Coeur business or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to the community by making a positive impact in Creve Coeur or the St. Louis region.

Most Innovative Business - honors a Creve Coeur business or organization that has demonstrated innovation, unique achievements or significant advancements in their field.

Favorite Restaurant - honors a Creve Coeur restaurant nominated by its customers for its outstanding service and food quality.

Nominate a Business

To nominate a business, complete the online Creve Coeur Business Awards nomination form. All nominations are due by March 15, 2017. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in spring 2017.


2016 Creve Coeur Business Award Winners

The City of Creve Coeur Economic Development Committee (EDC) celebrated the first Creve Coeur Business awards with a ceremony on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. The event was sponsored by Wexford Science and Technology.

At the ceremony, Creve Coeur Mayor Barry Glantz announced the winners including:

Heart of the Community Award: The Fitness Edge
The Fitness Edge has inspired members of the St. Louis region to improve their lives since 1991. Through their friendly staff and motivating environment, they encourage their clients to improve their health and wellbeing and achieve their fitness goals. They have been recognized locally and nationally as a premier training facility including being named one of Men’s Journal Magazine’s Top 100 Trainers in America two years in a row. Their exemplary work in personal training and athletic programs, their commitment to the health of their clients, and their ability to inspire lifestyle change exemplify the Heart of the Community Award.

Most Innovative Business Award: MOgene

MOgene has been contributing to Creve Coeur’s thriving life science industry since 2012. They have established a solid reputation as a genomics service provider to academic, government and industrial research groups and institutions. Their research has provided a vast array of innovative solutions including tools for personalized medicine, allowing doctors to prescribe more targeted and effective treatments, as well as research to develop technologies that convert natural gas into liquid fuel for transportation. With a mission to provide “best in class” services to its partners to bring critical solutions to agriculture, pharmaceutical and industrial biotech operations," they are truly working to make our world a better place for generations to come.

Favorite Restaurant Award: The Post Sports Bar and Grill

The Post Sports Bar and Grill has provided the Creve Coeur community an excellent location to gather and cheer on their favorite sports teams since 2013. Its two St. Louis locations have received multiple recognitions including CNN Top 101 Sports Bars in America. Their relaxing yet energetic atmosphere and exceptional service and attentiveness set this restaurant apart as a preferred neighborhood gathering place.
