Creve Coeur Enforces “You Drink and Drive, You Lose”

CREVE COEUR – In support of the statewide initiative “You Drink and Drive, You Lose,” the Creve Coeur Police Department will be conducting two safety checkpoints on Olive Boulevard August 25 and September 1. In addition to the checkpoints, additional officers will be patrolling the roads between August 16 and September 4, a special DWI enforcement period.

This special enforcement is designed to make highways safer and increase public awareness of the hazards of drinking and driving. By removing intoxicated drivers from the roadways we can decrease the potential for motor vehicle accidents.

Normal traffic flow will not be severely interrupted and delays will be minimal. The patience, cooperation and understanding of all motorists will help make the highways safer for all drivers and passengers.
