Leaf Vacuuming & Limb Chipping will Begin Once Weather Cooperates

Leaf Vacuuming: Due to the severe weather, the city’s leaf vacuuming program is temporarily halted until frozen leaves are thawed.

· Leaves must be placed by the curb line, but not in the street or sidewalk, and will be picked up weather permitting. No bags, no grass, no hedge clippings, and no brush.

Limb Chipping: A special storm limb picked-up will begin once snow and ice melts. Special Limb Collection Details:

· Limbs up to 6 inches in diameter will be accepted

· Place items at the curb with cut ends facing the street

· Limbs should not be stacked higher than 4 feet tall

· Crews cannot pick-up bushes with root wads, any material with thorns, branches less than 3 feet in length, or ½ inch in diameter.

Normal limb pick-up limits limb size to 3 inches in diameter.
