City to Hold Five-Year CIP Public Hearing on Monday

 

CREVE COEUR –Monday, December 12, the Creve Coeur City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for 2007-2011. The annual Street Repair Program represents the largest portion of CIP expenditures.   

Additions to the five-year plan including the following:

ParksMillennium Park phase 3, including a water feature and additional playground equipment (contingent upon obtaining a grant). A dog park, at a location to be determined, is also included in the plan.

Stormwater - $40,000 per year for small to medium stormwater projects, as identified by the city’s Stormwater Committee.

Sidewalk Projects – Mason Manor,, and N. New Ballas (west side).

CIP Expenditures are as follows:

FY07    $2.6 million

FY08    $1.7 million

FY09    $2.6 million

FY10    $2.5 million

FY11    $2.1 million

The CIP continues to be supported by a ˝ cent capital improvement sales tax, adopted in 1997.
