Impaired Driver Enforcement
CREVE COEUR
- The Creve Coeur Police Department will be conducting special enforcement on
December 15 and December 31 to target drunk drivers. Officers will be
conducting saturated patrols and (weather permitting) a sobriety checkpoint. This
enforcement activity is part of a statewide crackdown on impaired drivers
during this holiday season.
Chief John
Beardslee stated, “This special enforcement is designed to make highways safer
and increase public awareness of the hazards of drinking and driving. By
removing intoxicated drivers from the roadways we can decrease the potential
for motor vehicle accidents.”
Normal
traffic flow will not be severely interrupted and delays will be minimal. The
patience, cooperation, and understanding of all motorists will help make the
highways safer for all drivers and passengers.
