Special Leaf and Limb Pick-Up for Storm Damage

Leaf

Based on the excessive amount of leaves that fell from the storm, the city will make a special leaf pick-up starting on Tuesday, June 1 at 7 a.m. It may take two weeks to complete the entire city. Clean leaves must be placed at the curb for this one-time pick-up. Please pile leaves at the curb, not in the street and make sure no brush or trash is mixed with leaves. These items can damage the equipment, and leaf piles containing this type of debris will not be picked up. 

Limb

For storm related damage, limbs between 3 and 6 inches in diameter will be chipped by the city. Place items at the curb. Crews cannot pick-up bushes with root wads, any material with thorns, branches less than 3 feet long, or branches less than ½ inch in diameter. (Normal limb pick-up, which runs thru October, limits limb size to 3 inches in diameter.)
