Schwer Named Director of Public Works

CREVE COEUR – Bill Schwer was named director of public works for the City of Creve Coeur. Schwer has served as interim director of public works and community development for the last six months, previously serving as assistant city engineer since October 2001. “Bill will serve the citizens of Creve Coeur very well in his new capacity, as he has in his previous role. In addition to his technical skills, Bill brings with him a commitment to providing residents and businesses with the highest level of service,“ said Mark Perkins, city administrator. A civil engineer, Schwer holds a professional engineering (PE) license from the state of Missouri and is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Schwer responsibilities will include streets, parks, health and welfare, engineering, and building maintenance. Schwer replaces Vijay Bhasin, who resigned after 16 years of service. ###
