Ellen Lawrence has been a resident of Creve Coeur for 36 years, during which time she resided first at 219 N. Mosley Road, then moved to her current home at 501 N. Mosley Road. She is President and Co-Founder of Athena Group, LLC, an executive search firm comprised of all Ph.D. employees focusing on the placement of executive, managerial and technical personnel. She is also a Senior Consultant with Advanced Financial Associates, LLC, a team which researches, conducts and writes economic reports for a variety of clients and on topics of interest to the firm. She holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Pennsylvania State University.

Ellen is a Past President and Vice President of Congregation Neve Shalom and currently serves as a Board Member. She is also a volunteer with the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.

Ellen and her husband, Edward, have three adult children: Beth Susan Lawrence Mueth (30), Matthew Ronald Lawrence (28) and Rachel Catherine Lawrence (25).
